“Job placement” is the term used to describe the process by which educational institutions, social service agencies, military branches, employment agencies and recruiters help their students, soldiers and clients find work. The job placement department of a university or post-secondary institute typically has a representative who works with students to provide job leads and help with interview skills. Likewise, employment agencies and social service groups work with job-seekers and rehabilitation clients to find suitable occupations and vocational opportunities.
